Psychology of Loneliness

We invite you to take part in a research project about mental health. Through this study, we hope to better understand how loneliness affects how we think and feel about ourselves, others and the world around us.

About this study

The information gathered in this study will help us better understand how the experience of loneliness changes the way we think and feel about ourselves and the world around us.

You can take part in this research if you are:

  • at least 40 years old;
  • able to read and write English to a secondary school level;
  • able to provide informed consent

The study consists of a series of questions about yourself, your experience of loneliness, your current mental health, and the ways you see and think about yourself and the world around you. The study should take you about 20-30 minutes to complete.
